In 2004, a group of residents, business men and women and concerned citizens of West Belleville formed the West Belleville Promotional Committee, a division of the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce to address issues in their community.
The committee spans all aspects of life in West Belleville, from economic development to promoting activities that gather people together.
The group meets the fourth Friday of every month at 8:00am at the Alan J. Dixon Student Center at the Belleville campus of Lindenwood Universtiy, 2600 West Main Street, Belleville IL, in Belleville. The meetings have a set agenda with a guest speaker. Guests may sign up for email meeting minutes.
Membership is strictly on a volunteer basis.
